About Me

My name is Diane, and I am the licensed daycare provider and owner of Bertelsen Family Childcare. I have 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl, and 3 Grand-Daughters.

Two of my children are enrolled in Opportunities for Learning Charter School, and best of all,  it's  free!

The school provides their curriculum, and they have to go to school twice a week for testing. I feel that they are finally getting the education that they deserve. This school is superior compared to traditional public school. The teaching staff is excellent, and there is extra help for students that need it for free.

They even offer some outstanding field trips. I could go on and on about the perks!  Students must be entering the 7th grade to enroll and pass an exam. (extremely basic)

If you are a parent of guardian who is less than satisfied with your child's education in the traditional Public School System , please research other alternatives in education. They are out there! you just have to look! 

My husbands name is Michael aka Bert, and he works for Induction Technology Corporation., located in Adelanto, CA.

Prior to providing childcare, I worked for a medical office as a back office assistant and supervisor for 15 years with a special focus on internal medicine and pediatrics.

I have been providing childcare services to the Palmdale community since 1999.
